2024 starts next week! We still can’t quite wrap our heads around how fast this year has gone; so much has happened! Have you made a New Year’s resolution yet? I know we have. But before we get ahead of ourselves, let’s reflect on everything we’ve been up to this year!
We Turned 5!
This was one of the biggest milestones of the year for us. There was lots of cake eaten and a very heart-warming speech from our director! We reflected on our achievements over the past 5 years and looked forward to the exciting future ahead. You can read more about our plans in our Birthday blog.
Expanded Quality Care Across the UK
This time last year, we proudly supported healthcare facilities across four locations, primarily around the West Midlands. Fast forward to today, and we are thrilled to say that we now cover a whopping 19 locations spanning across the UK, from Newcastle to Plymouth!
Supported Work Experience
We were honoured to be invited to attend career events at Arthur Terry, John Willmott, Saltley Academy, and St Edmund Campion Catholic School, where we met so many incredible students. Furthermore, we also hosted Enzo, Bahar, and Jaya for their work experience, and they were a brilliant addition to our team over the summer! Click to read more about Enzo’s and Jaya’s experience.

Explored and Raised Awareness for Vital Causes
Throughout the year, we have released weekly blogs, many further exploring the important topics of each week. Here are our top three reads:

- Navigating Men’s Health: The Role of the Internet
- Dementia Awareness Week: Supporting Dementia Caregivers
In March, inspired by MIND, we launched the campaign “Minutes for Mental Health,” encouraging care home residents to get moving for their mental health with a new activity idea released every week!
Additionally, we also partnered with Pets As Therapy in a collaborative blog, educating care homes on the benefits of Pet Therapy in healthcare facilities.
Finally, most recently in October, we dressed up in Pink in the office and raised £70 for Breast Cancer Now!
New Year, New Office!
Our final achievement of the year is our new office; which we are moving into very soon and ready for the new year. Keep an eye on our socials for the grand reveal!
Overall, we’re amazed at the whirlwind of achievements in the past year and are excited about the opportunities that await us in the new year.
